On learning patience as a parent

Raising kids is a learning process. They're constantly teaching you how to be better and do better. Here is Laila Ali's take on what parenting taught her.

“Everything I do now is for them. I had to become more patient, because I am not naturally a patient person. I am very snappy. I expect everyone to move fast, but you can’t do that with kids. I have to check myself with my daughter sometimes, because I’m trying to get her to hurry up and get on my schedule. But I need to give myself a little more time and not make my children feel that way. You have to check yourself. But that’s what kids do. They’re just teaching me everyday to be better and I love it.”
